Superintendent Anna Shepherd congratulates our Floyd County academic team students on their success in the Kentucky Association for Academic Competition 6th Grade Showcase this past Saturday hosted by Duff-Allen Central Elementary.
Sixth grade students from the following schools participated in Section 38: Duff-Allen Central Elementary School (DACE), James D. Adams Middle School (AMS), John M. Stumbo Elementary School (JMS), Belfry Middle School, Pikeville High School, Valley Elementary.
Superintendent Shepherd comments, “Congratulations to our Runner Up, Duff-Allen Central Elementary! Congratulations Regan, Colin, Drew, Braxton, Marley, Morgan, Ava and Hannah! We are so proud of these 6th grade students as they competed in their first tournament at the middle school level!”
